They fielded: Ortegón - Manguyague, Sánchez Sanz, Wechslberger, Kullenholt - Orenquist, Kas, Santos, Hee, Waloch - Uddborn.

Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Bao-Tam - bin Che Lah, Pakpao, Seng-Huat - Fernández Riviera, Paullin, Spirig, Siu-Yue, Kolesov - Hjortlind, Stern.

pura_vida mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Grilled clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After 22 minutes, Grilled's Ulf Hjortlind made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area after 25 minutes played, Totte Uddborn of pura_vida evened the score to 1 - 1. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 31 minutes allowed Lorenz Paullin to score the 1 - 2 goal for Grilled. Donald Kas behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 37 minutes as he gave the ball away to Lorenz Paullin. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Au-Yong Siu-Yue came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over Alberto Ortegón and it was a little too high and hit the bar. Halftime score was 1 - 2. pura_vida claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Juan Luis Manguyague seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in the 2-2 goal for pura_vida after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Per Kullenholt. After a fine move down the middle Donald Kas nearly gave the home side a goal after 50 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Joe Stern of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish Luis Wechslberger, which resulted in the 2 - 3 goal. Grilled's Au-Yong Siu-Yue received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 76 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 2 - 4 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Lorenz Paullin finished off the counterattack from the left rather easily, scoring 2 - 5 for Grilled. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. The referee showed Grilled's Dani Spirig the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. pura_vida held the ball, with a clear 58 percent of possession.

The most dominating pura_vida player was without a doubt Donald Kas. Ignacio Sánchez Sanz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Au-Yong Siu-Yue. Antonio Fernández Riviera on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 5.
