Grilled's Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. With 12 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as 陶 (Tao) 庭峰 (Tingfeng) flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. With 16 minutes played, liman4's Ivica Čeko fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Ivica Čeko for diving. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob after 19 minutes. With 25 minutes played, Grilled's Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat for diving. Werner Ballinger had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper Hang Bao-Tam just wouldn't surrender. An accurate cross from liman4's Miroslav Ikodinović was met with a wonderful glancing header from Ivica Čeko, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 2 - 1. 44 minutes into the game liman4's Attila Csala found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 2 - 2. It was 2 - 2 at the break. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

They were singing the praises of Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob 56 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 3 - 2 for Grilled. After 75 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 3 - 3 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by Werner Ballinger. Grilled took the lead 81 minutes into the game by 4 to 3, as Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. By then Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob was a three time scorer - a hat trick! Things were going to get worse for the visitors. 陶 (Tao) 庭峰 (Tingfeng) squirmed himself through their central defence after 83 minutes, bringing the lead to 5 - 3. 陶 (Tao) 庭峰 (Tingfeng) increased Grilled's lead to 6 - 3, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. By then 陶 (Tao) 庭峰 (Tingfeng) was a three time scorer - a hat trick! After this, Grilled lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. After 89 minutes liman4's Johan Utterbom had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. Juan Luis Gaymer came in to replace him. The forty-five minutes were dominated by liman4, with an impressive 53 percent possession of the ball.

Most important Grilled player was Dani Spirig. Hang Bao-Tam on the other hand, had a terrible day. liman4's best player was Juan Luis Gaymer. Lazar Isaković was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 3.
