Academica used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
Peter Fjällbratt of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Academica's
Mateusz Lipiec lived up to his reputation for finding unexpected ways to get the ball in the net when he sent a nifty little pass over to
Borysław Moniuszko who finished for 1 - 0 with 19 minutes of the match played. 21 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Andrea Sbattelia dashed through, knocking home 2 - 0 for Academica. After this, Academica lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. After 24 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by

Hang Bao-Tam made a spectacular save. Academica had to make a substitution after 26 minutes.
Ludgerus Geiming limped off the field and was replaced by
Aaron Hilss.
Johan Herdahl was handed the Academica captain's armband. After 27 minutes,

Mateusz Lipiec put Academica ahead 5 - 1 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. After 63 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Mateusz Lipiec might have resulted in another goal for Academica. However,

Andrea Sbattelia manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 6 - 1. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Academica, with an impressive 74 percent possession of the ball.
Academica's top performer was clearly
Tony Fjelquist.
Johan Herdahl turned in a dismal performance, however. Grilled's best player was
Nawaz Talib. On the other hand,
Weng Seng-Huat's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 1.
