The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 21 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Wilson Kearney, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. 21 minutes in, GBR's Ulf Andersson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. GBR fought on and, after 31 minutes, Jan Åhlsjö was able to reply with the 3 - 1 goal after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. The referee showed GBR's Ma Zhong-Yan the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 39 minutes played, Ulf Hjortlind could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

Cheng Shiu-Hun was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, GBR's Dan Ilie managed to get hold of the rebound and scored the 3-2 goal. Tomek Krysiuk finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 3 - 3 64 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes of play, Ulf Hjortlind gave the home team a 4 - 3 lead after an attack coming in from the right. With 73 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 5 - 3 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Ulf Hjortlind, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. By then Ulf Hjortlind was a three time scorer - a hat trick! Dan Ilie of GBR received a yellow card after 74 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams.



Most important Grilled player was Daniel Tellskär. However, Nui Pakpao made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating GBR player was without a doubt Ulf Andersson. Nils Thorkvist was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 3.
