bab demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Grilled decided to play creatively. Grilled took the lead 14 minutes into the game, scoring the 0 - 1 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Kau Siu-Cheung was the scorer. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 25 minutes into the match. Ulf Hjortlind surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. The crowd was amused as Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob of Grilled used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by Lim Chuan Jing wasn't very amusing, however. After 29 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Qiu Swee Pheng to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. A header from Jordan MacEachan connected with a corner kick after 37 minutes, and the ball ended up with Lars Fredriksson of bab who shot home the 1-2 goal. Grilled's Lee Jie Siong received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 1 - 3 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. The home crowd was not impressed when Lee Jie Siong came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 39 minutes. Grilled were now up 1 - 4. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 4. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 79 percent of possession.

54 minutes into the match, Qiu Swee Pheng came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 70 minutes, making it 1 - 5. Allan Ødegaard was noted down as the scorer. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. The away team's Lim Chuan Jing took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 74 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 1 - 6. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Qiu Swee Pheng delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 77 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Lim Chuan Jing would have put Grilled up another goal 84 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 72 percent of possession.

bab's top performer was clearly Jordan MacEachan. However, Lars Fredriksson made a disastrous appearance. Lee Jie Siong performed admirably for Grilled. Kau Siu-Cheung turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
