Grilled used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. After a fine move down the middle Thanassis Geladakis nearly gave the home side a goal after 14 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Grilled had to make a substitution after 14 minutes. Kau Siu-Cheung limped off the field and was replaced by Nor Suhaimi bin Che Lah. TERFILI's Jimmy Månström refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 22 minutes. Seyed Khatib behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 23 minutes as he gave the ball away to Ulf Hjortlind. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. After 30 minutes, Günter Bošek came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to put away the 1 - 0 goal, giving TERFILI the lead. Grilled's Ulf Hjortlind got himself booked for a foul. The TERFILI player who had to be helped off the pitch, was Benny Fridling as he was unable to finish the game. Willfried Köhler came in to finish the match. It was 1 - 0 at the break. TERFILI claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

TERFILI managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Marty Dean cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The structure of the game started to change as TERFILI decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. TERFILI put in a good effort on the right, but Seyed Khatib saw his volley fly wide of the mark 74 minutes into the game. Grilled often look to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, Lee Jie Siong's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, TERFILI's Thanassis Geladakis got himself booked. Bukhari Abd Hamid made several blunders at the end of the game, causing a good deal of unrest in the defensive line. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased TERFILI's lead to 3 - 0 as Thanassis Geladakis finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. This half belonged to TERFILI, who controlled the ball 78 percent of the time.

The most dominating TERFILI player was without a doubt Marty Dean. Willfried Köhler on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Lee Jie Siong. Nor Suhaimi bin Che Lah on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
