QCM-Kickers 7 - 0 Grilled

48 spectators had found their way to QCM-Kickers Arena, despite the heavy rain. Zoran Jovanović was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niko Visala and Tonni Fink. QCM-Kickers had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Bella - Reichau, Monsch, Mo - Kapič, Wallbach, Hilti, Buss, Bogaert - Ysselstein, Agüero.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. They fielded: Bao-Tam - Alcántara, Tuan-Mu, Siu-Cheung - Chuan Jing, Jie Siong, Abd Hamid, Swee Pheng, Ødegaard - bin Yaacob, Hjortlind.

QCM-Kickers mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. QCM-Kickers's Benito Agüero tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Riekus Ysselstein of QCM-Kickers was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. They were singing the praises of Riekus Ysselstein 29 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 1 - 0 for QCM-Kickers. After 34 minutes, Riekus Ysselstein put QCM-Kickers ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. 35 minutes in, Grilled's Lim Chuan Jing received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Wilhelm Hilti was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. Things were deteriorating for the away team as QCM-Kickers scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Riekus Ysselstein after 41 minutes. By then Riekus Ysselstein was a three time scorer - a hat trick! QCM-Kickers put themselves up 4 - 0 when Benito Agüero broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. By now, QCM-Kickers were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. QCM-Kickers claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

QCM-Kickers's Gino Monsch was shown a yellow card after 47 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home side's Benito Agüero came close to extending the lead 61 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but Hang Bao-Tam managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. 65 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Kurt Wallbach dashed through, knocking home 5 - 0 for QCM-Kickers. With 67 minutes having been played, QCM-Kickers's Gino Monsch had to leave the pitch after receiving his second booking. Qiu Swee Pheng made several blunders at the end of the game, causing a good deal of unrest in the defensive line. 81 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Zdravko Kapič dashed through, knocking home 6 - 0 for QCM-Kickers. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, QCM-Kickers's Zdravko Kapič somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Riekus Ysselstein, who struck for 7 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by QCM-Kickers, with an impressive 81 percent possession of the ball.

QCM-Kickers's top performer was clearly HÃ¥kon Mo. Arjen Bogaert on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly Lee Jie Siong. Kau Siu-Cheung turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
