Esteban Montes was first to reach a long ball launched through the center from Myvatn's defense 38 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the keeper to make the score 1 - 1. Myvatn's Antonio Chirizzi was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Aw Keng Chuan looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Damian Hutter, though he would have liked to continue. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Raúl Himadas gave Radovan Jaška a quick hug as he left the field. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the field, Radovan Jaška was the new set pieces taker. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time, they welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. Dwight Davis knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Myvatn player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game.
