Lim An Keng's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his goal in minute 48 following a run up the middle gave Grilled the 4 - 3 lead. 60 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a HR substitution. Raúl Garoz came on for David Guijo. As the 65 minute mark approached, the HR manager decided it was time for a substitution. Enrique Maura reluctantly made way for Marcial Herreras. Marcial Herreras's speed was almost enough to give HR a goal after 71 minutes, but his nice pass to Jordi Blanch was not taken care of properly. After 76 minutes, Gandhik Chitre put Grilled ahead 5 - 3 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. After 79 minutes, Grilled's lack of experience resulted in the team's loss of their edge at the end of the game. After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving Aw Keng Chuan off. Damian Hutter took his place. Aw Keng Chuan was coming off, and had taken his last free kick for the day. That meant Brian 'Was Born' Reddy got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. After a play down the right 81 minutes into the match, Grilled's Chia Kwang Tse unleashed a ferocious shot that smashed into the roof of the net - after going over the crossbar. The home team's fans were upset when, after 83 minutes, the visiting Jordi Blanch broke through the central defense and got the ball past the keeper. 5 - 4 was the score. With the clock showing 85 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board. Mohd Marzuki Khairul looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Chan Ze Han, though he would have liked to continue. The fourth official announced that there would be 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 5 - 4.
