Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Grilled solidified their lead at the 67 minute mark, as Hwang Teck Fu snaked the ball through the central line of defense and finished for 4 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as Mohd Marzuki Khairul broke through the visitors' central defense to put away the 5 - 1 goal for Grilled. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle instead. Lim An Keng was not content with his team's lead, and tried to extend it 80 minutes into the game after a nice run through the middle, but his shot went wide. As the 85 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution. Brian 'Was Born' Reddy reluctantly made way for Paulino Trindade.
