The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when Gandhik Chitre was unable to give the visitors the go-ahead goal after his attack from the left in minute 32. Though it was beautiful soccer, the home crowd did not enjoy Chia Kwang Tse's goal after a run down the left with 36 minutes on the clock. Grilled lead, 1 - 2. Grilled's Hwang Teck Fu set up a perfect opportunity for Chia Kwang Tse, but the latter failed to score. With a shot lofted in from just outside the penalty area 38 minutes in, Armindo da Cruz of Gloup.FC evened the score to 2 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Now to our celebrity commentator for a hot take. Over to you, Snoop! As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution. Chan Ze Han reluctantly made way for Joe Reece. Chan Ze Han was coming off, and had taken his last free kick for the day. That meant Aw Keng Chuan got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. After 60 minutes, Grilled put themselves up 2 - 3, as Chia Kwang Tse finished off a play from the left with a real rocket. Gandhik Chitre increased the visitors' lead by volleying in a pass from the right. 2 - 4. After 79 minutes, Grilled began to show their lack of experience and they threatened to wilt under the heavy pressure from their opposition. A thrilling play through the middle after 83 minutes gave Grilled's Chia Kwang Tse a chance to increase the lead, and he happily obliged. The score was then 2 - 5. That was his third goal of the match - a hattrick for Chia Kwang Tse! That's the name of the game!
