The teams stopped and stared at each other - it was like they were looking in a mirror, since they both lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled's
Chia Kwang Tse was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 13 minutes. Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
Chad Thach completely alone with keeper
Víctor Urbas, who made a spectacular block. After 40 minutes cheers broke out as
Chia Kwang Tse found his way through the guests' central defensive line, rattling the 1 - 0 goal in off the woodwork for Grilled. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Now to our celebrity commentator for a hot take. Over to you, Snoop! 46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Chan Ze Han gave
Joe Reece a quick hug as he left the field.
Lim An Keng could have put Grilled up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 49 minutes. The keeper's save on
Angel Calvo's penalty was not only wonderful to watch, but was important too, as it prevented the away side from drawing level after 61 minutes. Grilled's coach was furious with
Joe Reece after he picked up a yellow for saying one too many words to the ref. The crowd was amused as
Chad Thach of Grilled used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by
Gandhik Chitre wasn't very amusing, however, and the score was unchanged. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Köln-City's
誠 (Jo) 棚橋 (Tanahashi) got himself booked. Köln-City leveled the score after 78 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as
Moritz Giesinger struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle left him completely unmarked.
Chia Kwang Tse gave Grilled the 2 - 1 lead, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball at the keeper's right post – what a clinical finish! Grilled's
Mohd Marzuki Khairul was delighted to score as he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing keeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing. 3 - 1 after 81 minutes. It was announced by the fourth official that he estimated stoppage time to be around 2 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 3 - 1. Well, look at this! Cardi B is on the Enormotron in naught but giant sunglasses and a Twisted Metal F.C. tank top. I've not seen anything like it before. Most important Grilled player was
Gandhik Chitre. Good thing
Dimitris Germanakos isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. Köln-City's best player was
Angel Calvo. I can't remember
Sid Hanley ever having a worse night than he just had.
