The visitors' Glenn Lövblom was alert on a play coming in from the left, evening things up at 1 - 1 after 14 minutes. Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up with 17 minutes gone as Chad Thach got through on the left, but a lapse in concentration sent the ball wide. The visitors' central defense should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Chad Thach, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fire a low shot that 5-holed the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Chad Thach got himself booked. After 29 minutes, 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) put Grilled ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. Grilled solidified their lead at the 31 minute mark, as Orest Tokarz snaked the ball through the central line of defense and finished for 4 - 1. 4 - 1 was the halftime score. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 60 percent possession in this half was spot on!

60 minutes had passed when Grilled put themselves up 5 - 1 after the visiting defenders lost the ball to Mohd Marzuki Khairul, who came up from the left and proceeded to easily go around the goalkeeper and knock the ball home. Grilled added another goal to their lead as 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) struck home for 6 - 1 after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. At that, 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) was noted down for a hattrick! Grilled put themselves up 7 - 1 when Orest Tokarz broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive delegation behind him. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 9 - 1 when Chad Thach slid in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. That was his third goal of the match - a hattrick for Chad Thach! That's the name of the game! The match ends 9 - 1. Well, look at this! Cardi B is on the Enormotron in naught but giant sunglasses and a Twisted Metal F.C. tank top. I've not seen anything like it before. Gústav Thoroddsen performed admirably for Grilled. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by Lim An Keng today. AIK's top performer was clearly Marco Antonio Beltrame. I can't remember Glenn Lövblom ever having a worse night than he just had.
