Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 3511 to
The Cooking Pot.

Mathias Colman. Grilled fielded:

Chitre.
The following players took the field for Beodos:

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Grilled Birds went for 2-5-3 while Barserena has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled took the lead 11 minutes in, as
Orest Tokarz broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
Gandhik Chitre increased the lead for Grilled to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Grilled managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when
Orest Tokarz cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. 23 minutes in, Beodos's
Julio Jorge Tilger received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Cameron Law was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his left knee after 23 minutes. The replacement for the injured player was
Manuel Vadalà. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 4 - 0 as
Gandhik Chitre finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Federico Parada increasing the lead to 5 - 0. The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.
With 69 minutes played, Grilled's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
Joe Reece he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 6 - 0.
Mohsen El Khateeb would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Teo Chuan Yong entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 70 minutes. Grilled solidified their lead at the 80 minute mark, as
Joe Reece dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
Gandhik Chitre squirmed through their central defence after 81 minutes, increasing the lead to 8 - 0. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Gandhik Chitre. After 86 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Chia Kwang Tse might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However,
Orlando Vaz made a spectacular save. Grilled's
Chia Kwang Tse was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 87 minutes.
Joe Reece had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 88 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
José Luiz Velho came on for
Gandhik Chitre. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by
Chia Kwang Tse rendered him his second booking of the match, and Grilled had to finish the game with a reduced squad. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 4 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 8 - 0. Grilled had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
Grilled's best player was
Aw Keng Chuan.
Manuel Vadalà turned in a dismal performance, however. Beodos's top performer was clearly
Paweł Mataczyński. On the other hand,
Julio Jorge Tilger's play was disheartening.
