Grilled 3 - 4 -Blitz-

57664 punters turned up at The Cooking Pot, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Martí Casals was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eduardo Valverde and Rafael Ginés. People from all over Jurong had joined up for the derby. The following players had been chosen: Batâr - 中北 (Nakakita), 入江 (Irie) - Künzler, Muthyala, Xin Seng, Xin Lee, Romijn - Ze Han, Davlatov, Parvathaneni.

Lineup: Hernalsteen - Abdul Rahim Sufyan, Kamkovich, Kearney, Polley, Tze Chao - Kamat, Komisarek, Ariton, Rey - Tudorache.

Grilled Birds fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For -Blitz-, the formation of choice was 5-4-1. The terraces were silenced after 9 minutes when -Blitz-'s George-Cosmin Tudorache put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. George-Cosmin Tudorache was, after 25 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Valentin Batâr made the save. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Ant Kearney was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 27 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Grilled's 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 1. -Blitz-'s Johannes Polley gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 32 minutes with a superb strike from the right. It was 1 - 2 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by -Blitz-, with 56 percent of the ball.

After 57 minutes of play, Moey Xin Seng evened things up for Grilled with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 2 - 2. The visiting Ant Kearney was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 59 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 2 - 3 was the score. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) made way for Hoàng Trung Quá. After 85 minutes, Florus Romijn made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 3 - 3. The guests took the lead 86 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in Daniel Ariton scoring to make it 3 - 4. After 87 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by -Blitz- was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. The referee announced 1 minute of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 3 - 4. -Blitz- had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Grilled's best player was Islom Davlatov. However, Hoàng Trung Quá made a disastrous appearance. Most important -Blitz- player was George-Cosmin Tudorache. Tsamin Abdul Rahim Sufyan turned in a dismal performance, however.
