WolfKnights 0 - 7 Grilled

Clear skies welcomed the 8866 spectators who had made their way to WolfTour. Beslind Sopaj was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Roberto Toquero and Eetu Einiö. They fielded: Ullman - Jun Yeng, Rao, Thoyyib Safiuddin, Khairil - Kumar, Safir, Thahir, Dong Chao - Chung, Boon Shun.

The following players had been chosen: Batâr - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Muthyala, Xin Seng, Xin Lee, Romijn - Ze Han, Davlatov, Parvathaneni.

WolfKnights started the game in a 4-4-2 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Grilled's Chan Ze Han after 5 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. After 19 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Florus Romijn a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. A drive down the left side allowed Chan Ze Han to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 27 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. With 30 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Islom Davlatov. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Grilled's Florus Romijn somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Islom Davlatov, who struck for 0 - 5. With 36 minutes played, Cyril Künzler nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 65 percent of the ball.

Rory Ullman got a fingertip on Kalki Parvathaneni's shot from the left 59 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Hoàng Trung Quá wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by 雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie). The visitors' Chu Xin Lee took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 72 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Grilled. 75 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 7 as Kalki Parvathaneni finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Florus Romijn was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 76 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. A slight injury to his left calf muscle meant Soh Jun Yeng had to leave the match early. It happened after 78 minutes. The replacement for the injured player was Li Ah Kang. Chu Xin Lee left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) was the replacement. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 0 - 7. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

WolfKnights's top performer was clearly Li Ah Kang. However, Rory Ullman made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Islom Davlatov. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) on the other hand, had a terrible day.
