Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Void mostly relied on their long range shooting ability. The referee showed Void's T. Chauvin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Grilled took the lead 9 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as C. Ying Lee elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Cheers filled the stadium as M. bin Mohd Kassim broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Grilled. The visitors got one back when R. Harciník finished off a pass from the left and scored after 32 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. T. Bodnár was caught napping as W. Ping Shun lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. After 41 minutes Void's M. Ginko limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 57 percent of the ball.

Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Grilled solidified their lead at the 59 minute mark, as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. After 64 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and W. Ping Shun gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 1. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 66 minutes, Void did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, A. Paoletti was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 4 - 2. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let R. bin Ahmad replace C. Meyer after 80 minutes. Void's P. Lo Bartolo left the field after 82 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was B. Goekint. M. Loffredo was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Void's A. Brown managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 4 - 3 It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's L. Aik Jia increasing the lead to 5 - 3. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . However, 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) made a disastrous appearance. Most important Void player was T. Bodnár. T. Chauvin on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 3.
