"If we are to get anywhere, we need funds, and while some may see us as trying to profit from our players, it has to be done." Han stated. "The history of this club has been riddled all too often with cases where we bought high and sold low, and we have to change this."
Han may have been encouraged by having arranged a S$9 million transfer fee for German star Domenik Bögengang earlier in the season, Grilled's highest for a non-local and about S$2 million over the odds, though it did take a couple of months.
The more cynical of Grilled's supporters however think that Han may not be around to reap the fruits of his labour, and the long-suffering coach may see himself out of the door as early as the upcoming Sunday, if his chosen eleven do not repay his faith in them, and fall to Sim™.
