Arrogancae appeared to have tied up another S-League crown, as they scored a worthy 2-0 victory over Rollin' Thunder at Avengers Apocalypse. An embarassment of riches was on display in a match of the highest quality, but first-half goals by Tinu Horni and Natan Sorokin left Rollin' chasing a lost cause.
The Warriors, who have been the surprise story of the season, having strung together a great run on a threadbare budget, were held to a 1-1 draw by TTTNW, a result that suited Grilled just fine. The visitors' decision to replace the ineffective Morariu with Stefan Nilsson was a masterstroke, and they might even have stolen it at the death.
In the final game of the round, L1verpool beat seluraralc handily, 4-0, which could partly be attributed to Lino Chaussepied's early shower for seluraralc after an outrageous tackle. The loss of experienced fullback Bruno Brandão to injury just minutes before was already a stiff blow, and they could not recover from the double whammy.
