Always an imposing presence during his time with the Chicken Wings, this was alas not enough for Muthyala to be considered for the senior squad when he graduated, such was the oversupply of top midfielders that they had then.

Two well-spent seasons with Polish club KS.Bratos saw this situation reverse on its head, and Muthyala was only too happy to rejoin his boyhood club when they appealed to him. He would not stay idle after leaving for a second time at thirty-five, playing in Romania and Italy before winning a Chilean sixth division title with Jorquera.
