Elsewhere, Farmer Bunnies were embarassed 0-4 by Andorran II.3 side F.C. Mirlos in their own World Battle fixture, as their defence suffered a disastrous first half. It wasn't quite any personal or systemic failing, as Mirlos simply flaunted their incredible aerial strength. Fernando Mejía opened with an arcing header in the sixth minute, and Pacià Purrà polished off a cross three minutes later, before dropping a corner kick right onto Ferran Torres' head, ten minutes on.
They even had time to try their own counterattacks, and while Patricio Joara failed to score from a great specimen 29 minutes in, Jean-Alexandre Juhel upped the score to four with a humiliating finish between
Gilberto Sorondo's legs. This was grating on Italian defender
Arturo Rosano, who eventually got himself sent off after one sneaky foul too many.
That left II.4 wiped out against the Andorrans, with Featureship FC likewise unable to get anything against F.C. Tor, in a 0-2 defeat. frunzelite would at least score through Sławomir Podgórni in their clash against La Masia Andorrana, but that came only after Eric Poch and Boi Dolcet had done the same for their opponents - which was how it stayed to the end.
