Grilled 8 - 0 ArSenal

A scorching day at The Cooking Pot, where 55289 spectators were in place for today's match. David Messina was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vitacir Janota and Lorenzo Colella. It was a very hot day and some players suffered from this, especially those relying on tough physical play or a lot of fast runs. For the technical ones, on the other hand, this was ideal conditions. The following players had been chosen: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Muthyala, Mohammad Harun, Davlatov, Romijn - Xin Seng, Mudaliar, Parvathaneni.

The following players took the field: Corrales - Ooijer, Torzsa, Cioceanu - Wee Choon, Bozhkov, Uon-Aso, Lao, Matero - Altefähre, Höckelsberger.

Grilled Birds fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For ArSenal U21, the formation of choice was 3-5-2. ArSenal showed off their brilliant creative tactics. Given a free kick close to the byline, Grilled tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Islom Davlatov slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 0, 11 minutes into the game. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Islom Davlatov cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The referee showed Grilled's Islom Davlatov the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Charles Lao slowly got up on his feet, clutching his right thigh, but eventually signalled that he was ready to play on. The corner kick from Cyril Künzler was powerfully met by the head of Bilal Mohammad Harun to make the score 3 - 0. With 26 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Kalki Parvathaneni, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Massoud Dob twisted his arm after 31 minutes, forcing Grilled to make a substitution. This gave Dan Seng a chance to take to the field instead. After 33 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Vikram Mudaliar gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. Grilled's Florus Romijn had a good first touch on the flank, but was crowded and, after a change of plan, sent the ball to Neeraj Muthyala who somehow managed to curl the ball wide. After 38 minutes, Grilled sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Vikram Mudaliar, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 6 - 0. The teams went for the halftime break at 6 - 0. Grilled had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

Grilled solidified their lead at the 47 minute mark, as Cyril Künzler dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 0. Bilal Mohammad Harun increased the lead for Grilled to 8 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! With 66 minutes gone, Grilled had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, Islom Davlatov did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Chan Ze Han replace Moey Xin Seng after 70 minutes. Hoàng Trung Quá became the new Grilled captain. 75 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Grilled's Islom Davlatov received his second yellow card and was sent off. Following a collision in the 76, ArSenal's Étienne Höckelsberger complained of a damaged shoulder. Eventually, he forced himself to continue the match anyway. Hoàng Trung Quá left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Mohd Jafni Abdul Majid was the replacement. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) took over the role of being the Grilled captain. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 8 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

Grilled's best player was Neeraj Muthyala. Dan Seng on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important ArSenal player was Étienne Höckelsberger. However, Cheung Wee Choon made a disastrous appearance.
