Razer 4 - 1 Grilled

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 76471 to Coliseum d'Hauts Esprits. Donald Võsandi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Reinhart Ludwigshafen and Giovanbattista Banchelli. Razer tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Jiao-Long - bin Sahat, Dahl, Patel - Thanh-long, Shen, Wojnar, Tsu-Yee, Mun-Nee - Willard, Leinonen.

Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Harlow - Bona, Paullin, Falkbo - Spirig, Stanton, Rottman, Kek-Tjiang, van Liere - Langeland, Martinsson.

Grilled immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. Grilled's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. 23 minutes in, the unpredictable Hidde van Liere of Grilled fired a sudden long range shot that flew only inches wide of the post. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 29 minutes allowed Asher Stanton to score the 0 - 1 goal for Grilled. Due to some great work on the right wing Razer's Mikey Willard was able to even the score after 35 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 36 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Heikki Leinonen, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Razer held the ball, with a clear 53 percent of possession.

Weng Shen increased Razer's lead to 3 - 1, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. The structure of the game started to change as Razer decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. With 71 minutes played, Peter Patel could have brought this one home for Razer as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 77 minutes Grilled's Dani Spirig contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 78 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving Dani Spirig completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Razer's Mikey Willard putting the lead up to 4 - 1. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Jan Langeland got himself booked. Razer held the ball, with a clear 53 percent of possession.

The most dominating Razer player was without a doubt Weng Shen. However, Terje Dahl made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Hidde van Liere. However, Lorenz Paullin made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.
