Sten Lindland was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Alfredo Espinoza and
Bart Boldo. AroJin started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Sheung-lam - Yu-Ming, Huu, Yen-jhy - Chen-Khang, bin Md Johadi, Ji-chuu, Chi-wen, Sheng-Nan - Sidenén, Gerpe Landín.
Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Bertolin - Ong, Tuan-Mu, Siu-Cheung - Hua, Seng-kar, Chin-shu, Tellskär, Persson - Attimarad, Hobson.
AroJin took the lead 24 minutes into the game by 1 to 0, as
Ding Chi-wen elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
Daniel Tellskär of Grilled received a yellow card after 37 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Jiang Chen-Khang made a nice rush in the 40 minute, but was eventually stopped by
Kau Siu-Cheung. AroJin put themselves up 2 - 0 when
Stefan Sidenén broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him.
Irfan Bakti bin Md Johadi should probably have put his team up another goal after 43 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
Marcus Vinicius Bertolin kept the visitors in the game.
Kau Siu-Cheung got left behind when AroJin's
Jiang Chen-Khang made a sudden pull forward after 45 minutes, finishing off with a swift strike. 3 - 0! The structure of the game started to change as AroJin decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. With 45 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Grilled showed some good morale and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when
Svarpati Attimarad got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. The referee showed AroJin's
Gao Ji-chuu the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Halftime score was 3 - 1. The forty-five minutes were dominated by AroJin, with an impressive 56 percent possession of the ball.
The visitors replied 64 minutes into the game, scoring the 3 - 2 goal, as
Bert Persson dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. 65 minutes into the game Grilled's
Daniel Tellskär found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 3 - 3. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 89 minutes allowed
Gao Seng-kar to score the 3 - 4 goal for Grilled. After 89 minutes of play,
Gao Ji-chuu equalised for AroJin after an elegant attack from the right.
Gao Yen-jhy made several blunders at the end of the game, causing a good deal of unrest in the defensive line. The referee showed AroJin's
Jiang Yu-Ming the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 90 minutes AroJin's
Jiang Yu-Ming had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony.
Einar Pettersson came in to replace him. AroJin held the ball, with a clear 60 percent of possession.
After the regular 90 minutes, the agony of overtime followed. Grilled took the lead 106 minutes into the game, scoring the 4 - 5 goal after some elegant plays down the middle.
Kau Siu-Cheung was the scorer. This put an end to extra time, making Grilled the winners.
AroJin's best player was
Xing Sheng-Nan.
Gao Ji-chuu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Lan Tuan-Mu.
Bert Persson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 5.
