Hattrick 2 - 1 Grilled

e crowd of 68176 turning up at Hattrick War-Zone today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Rolando Calvani was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Andrzej Surdy and Väinö Pusa. Hattrick tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: bin Mustaffa - Tein-min, Magnusson, Menon - Rosblom, Dawson, Kyhlbom, Olsson, Malmhall - Lennartsson, Pilholt.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Harlow - Alcántara, Tuan-Mu, Dewilde - Dai-Lin, Noor Yadah, Stanton, Kek-Tjiang, Siu-Yue - Hjortlind, Martinsson.

Hattrick mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. After 3 minutes, Hattrick's Sten Rosblom swiftly ran past Johan Dewilde to put away the 1-0 goal. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Lars Pilholt squirmed himself through their central defence after 24 minutes, bringing the lead to 2 - 0. By now, Hattrick were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. After 30 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Anders Lennartsson might have resulted in another goal for Hattrick. However, Clair Harlow made a spectacular save. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Hattrick held the ball, with a clear 55 percent of possession.

Anders Lennartsson, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. After an industrious effort down the middle, Si Tein-min could have closed the game off after 76 minutes, but his finishing shot hit the post. Michael Olsson almost managed to score another goal for Hattrick, coming from the right, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors' keeper. Grilled's Ola Martinsson was able to reply, after 77 minutes, with the 2 - 1 goal on a penalty. The referee showed Grilled's Ulf Hjortlind the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 80 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Erik Magnusson might have resulted in another goal for Hattrick. However, Clair Harlow made a spectacular save. Hattrick claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

The most dominating Hattrick player was without a doubt Michael Olsson. Robert Malmhall on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Grilled player was Aznan Noor Yadah. However, Luis Alcántara made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 1.
