Bitter Blow
Frank Öhmo was agitated at an unprecendented spate of bad luck which saw both his best trainees knocked out with moderate injuries. Siu-Yue and Rottman were flown back at the first opportunity to the tender attentions of Grilled's resident medical team, but the initial diagnosis was not encouraging. Siu-Yue suffered a bad ligament strain which could see him out for three weeks, while Rottman's weak knee will take about two weeks to heal.
"At least we're entering a relatively easier run of games," Öhmo consoled concerned supporters. "Our doctors are doing all they can, and our medical facilities are one of the best in the nation. With some luck, Rottman could even be back in time for next Tuesday's game against Ural Bears. Two weeks lost training is bad for Siu-Yue's under-20 hopes, but he's a determined boy who will be back quickly."
