Grilled 4 - 1 Singapore

e 70181 spectators at The Cooking Pot were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Erik Eneander was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Roli Branbilla and Ramon Schravendijk. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Abed-Sulaiman - Zywczyn, FredgÄrd, Bona - Spirig, Han Kok, Kek-Tjiang, Paullin, van Liere - Martinsson, Simon.

Singapore started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Xiaolun - Kok-Peng, Shiu-Fai, Khoi-Khoa - Tegelberg, Son-Bao, bin Manaf, Wenghae, Noor Yadah - Rodostoglou, bin Md Johadi.

Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up after 11 minutes as Quah Han Kok got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Grilled took the lead 12 minutes into the game by 1 to 0, as Ola Martinsson elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Singapore got a chance to level the score as Syamsul bin Md Johadi suddenly found himself free with only the 'keeper to beat, but the finishing shot hit the bar. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Singapore held the ball, with a clear 51 percent of possession.

Grilled managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Hidde van Liere cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Ater 70 minutes Jani Tegelberg seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored the reducer for Singapore making it 2 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as Shen Kek-Tjiang broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 1 goal for Grilled. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 4 - 1 when Sylweriusz Zywczyn cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. This half belonged to Singapore, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

Grilled's top performer was clearly Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. However, Dani Spirig made a disastrous appearance. Singapore's top performer was clearly Chew Xiaolun. Aznan Noor Yadah on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
