Grilled welcomed eighteen year-olds Ivaylo Mirchev and Peter Fjällbratt to their fold for a combined sum of under S$100000, as academy supply has virtually dried up in the wake of the youth league upheaval.

Bulgarian striker Mirchev was recommended by rising Division Six side The Underwolrd, and also garnered interest from Italian club master of puppets team; Tall Swedish central midfielder Fjällbratt had found success both in the middle and on the wings with the youth side of Mousaka, and Norwegian side spek attack were favoured to land him.
